BREICHIAU HIR

 

Swathes of crushing noise, blended with delicate melodies are at the forefront of Cardiff six-piece, Breichiau Hir’s signature sound. 

 

Mixing influences from post-rock, emo, punk and shoegaze, Breichiau Hir conjure up emotionally packed orchestrations, delivered through crashing waves and gritty hooks. 

 

Their intense live shows demand attention with thrilling energy and sheer volume, with their introspective Welsh lyrics sung raw, with the mission to connect and create an intimate atmosphere.

 

After a string of stand alone singles, they released their Welsh music Prize and Welsh Album Of The Year nominated debut album, Hir Oes I’r Cof in 2021 on Libertino Records. A collection of hard-hitting and emotive songs. The band are currently finishing their follow up album to be released in 2025.
