Cardiff six-piece, Breichiau Hir are an act that blends cathartic intensity, enormous walls of sound and fragile melancholic moments with a sole mission to move and connect to it’s audience.

Bursting with melody, fragility and aggression, the band often jump from fierce energy to delicate parts to a full crashing waves of noise.

They tackle hard-hitting themes with poignant lyrics, self-deprecating humour and surreal wordplay in their native Welsh language.

The band released their debut album, Hir Oes I’r Cof in 2021 on Libertino Records. The album received very positive reviews and was nominated for the Welsh Music Prize and Welsh Album Of The Year.

It was recorded by the band's long-time collaborator, Phil Smith at One Louder Studios and mastered by Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me The Horizon, Funeral For A Friend, Motörhead).
